2009 FRINGE AT FOXTEL TELEVISION CENTRE IN NORTH RYDE
This year Fringe is being held at the FOXTEL Television Centre in North Ryde on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th October.
Due to venue capacity there will be limited numbers. We urge regulars to register early as it is first in best dressed.
SPAA Fringe continues to educate, inspire and connect by providing a unique opportunity for the emerging sector to network with like-minded, content creators.
SPAA Fringe is an interactive two-day seminar for serious filmmakers who are interested in building their community and career within the Australian screen industry. The event is comprised of workshops, roundtables, one-on-one sessions, panel discussions, film screenings and social networking events.

In 2008, the conference showcased an aspirational line-up of speakers including, award-winning feature film Producer, Melanie Coombs (Mary and Max, Harvie Krumpet); LAMP Director Gary Hayes; celebrated Executive Producer Sue Maslin (Celebrity: Dominick Dunn, Japanese Story); comedic TV Producer, Anthony Watt (Spicks & Specks, Full Frontal, Hamish & Andy, Comedy Inc.) as well as many other established and emerging filmmakers, TV execs and industry professionals.
SPAA Fringe brings together individuals who are inspired to make media content that is innovative, creative and interactive. People who are interested in similar projects or subjects can start a discussion thread on Fringe Facebook; while The Melting Pot allows registered delegates to be able to find creative partners by posting an advertisement to other registered delegates calling for expressions of interest for anything your heart desires.
